Former Bears LB Alec Ogletree has Retired at age 31
Former Bears LB, Alec Ogletree, is walking away from the game. At age 31, he has announced that he is retiring from the NFL.
Ogletree posted on his Instagram that he is retiring after 9 years in the league:
Ogletree was drafted back in 2013, as the 30th pick in the 1st round. He was selected by the Rams, and played a few seasons with them. He then bounced around a few other teams, and played his last season with the Chicago Bears.
He finishes his NFL career with 7.5 sacks, 12 interceptions. and 13 forced fumbles. Though he is still very young, he found that it was best to finish his career this way.
