Stephen Holder reported that former Chicago Bears head coach John Fox has been hired by the Indianapolis Colts. He will serve as a senior defensive assistant.

Fox was the head coach for the Bears from 2015 to 2017. Let's just say he was not very successful in Chicago. Fox led the Bears to a 6–10 record in his first season. That season was very underwhelming and it was highlighted by a 26-0 loss versus the Seahawks where the Bears punted on all of its ten possessions, the only time a team has punted on all of its possessions at least since 1980.
In his second season, Fox had an abysmal record of 3-13. The Bears were simply a disgrace that years.
Then, in his third and last season, the Bears finished with a record of 5-11 and Fox was then let go.
His overall record with the Bears was 14–34, the second-lowest win percentage in franchise history, as the team finished last in the NFC North in all three seasons.
After his time in Chicago, ESPN announced that Fox would be hired to work as a studio analyst for NFL Live in March 2018.
After three seasons spent outside an NFL locker room, Fox will make his return with Matt Eberflus' former team, the Colts.
Best of luck to him.
