"Florida QB Anthony Richardson Sets New Vertical Jump Record at Combine, Wows NFL GMs"
Florida Gators quarterback, Anthony Richardson, made a remarkable impression at the NFL Combine on Saturday, breaking the record for a quarterback's vertical jump with an impressive leap of 40.5 inches. Stacey Dales from NFL Network shared a video of Richardson's feat, leaving many in awe.
As the NFL Draft approaches in less than two months, Bryce Young from Alabama, C.J. Stroud from Ohio State, and Will Levis from Kentucky are expected to be the first three quarterbacks selected. Young and Stroud are the frontrunners for the first overall pick, while Levis is projected to be a top-10 selection. The Chicago Bears, who hold the first pick, are expected to trade it to a team needing a quarterback.
Initially projected as a mid-to-late first-round selection, Richardson's outstanding performance at the Combine may see him drafted earlier than anticipated. At 6-foot-4 and weighing 232 pounds, he threw for 2,549 yards and 17 touchdowns with nine interceptions in his final collegiate season. He also rushed for 654 yards and nine touchdowns as a dual-threat quarterback.
