Do Running Backs Deserve More Money? Christian McCaffrey Thinks So!
Do you think Running backs are making too little of money? Well, it seems like star RB Christian McCaffrey thinks so.
While on The Rich Eisen Show, McCaffrey had some opinions about the value of running backs. McCaffrey believes that the value of running backs has gone down, due to injuries. He believes that this should not be the case, and that running backs should be valued even more than other positions. He said:
"When I look at what receivers make around the league and then you look at what running backs make, we're at the bottom of the list".
McCaffrey is making solid points, and it makes sense to pay them more. Running backs are taking a beating every time they get the ball, making them an important piece to a team. Running backs are only making a little bit more than punters, which seems bizarre.
