Commanders have Released their Long Snapper after Causing an Injury to his Teammate
Damn!
During the Commanders/Rams game yesterday, Commanders long snapper Camaron Cheeseman messed up his snap to the punter Tress Way, which then caused an injury to Way after he was forced to fall on top of the ball:
Way was then forced to exit the game for a bit while being evaluated for a back injury and a possible concussion.
After this play, Cheeseman made other mistakes, and after the 28-20 loss, the team decided to release him:
