Chiefs Star Chris Jones' Holdout is Officially Over, as he has Reached a New Deal
As reported by insider Ian Rapoport, the Chiefs and Chris Jones have reached an agreement, and Jones has signed a 1-year contract:
After holding out for game 1, and potentially for longer, Jones is now back with the Chiefs, and is gearing up to play in their week 2 matchup against the Jaguars.
This is obviously not the long-term contract that Jones initially wanted, but he is still back and committed with the team for one year.
However, because the contract is only for this season, he will be a free agent next offseason, and is eyeing his potential teams.
