The Super Bowl is just around the corner and one of the best part of the Super Bowl for many is the Super Bowl ads. The ads themselves bring attention from many casual football fans and can be seen on more highlight reels the next day than the actual game sometimes. While you'll see plenty of ads for alcohol during the game, you won't be seeing any for recreational or medical marijuana. Acreage Holdings, a multi-state cannabis company, says it's ad calling for the nationwide legalization of medical marijuana was rejected. The proposed ad had featured two people who had benefited from medical marijuana: a veteran with combat injuries and a child with seizures. Medical marijuana is now legal in over 30 states, however is extremely difficult to obtain for potential patients in the remaining ones.
