CB Jack Jones could be facing 30 Years in Prison
Just a few days ago, Patriots CB Jack Jones was arrested at Boston's Logan Airport. Two firearms were found in his luggage and he has been charged with two counts. According to ESPN, the two counts were for:
"Possession of a concealed weapon in a secure area of the airport, possession of ammunition without a firearm identification card, unlawful possession of a firearm, carrying a loaded firearm and possession of a large-capacity feeding device"
According to Boston Globe, a spokesperson for a Suffolk District Attorney said that Jones could be facing up to 30 years in prison.
The 25 year old was drafted by the Patriots in the 4th round of the 2022 draft. In the 13 games he has played he has made 30 tackles, 1 forced fumble, and 1 interception.
Though his career is just starting, it seems like it may be over already.
