Browns Game Is So Cold That They're Allowing Special Rules For The Fans
The Cleveland Browns are allowing fans to bring extra items into FirstEnergy Stadium for Saturday's 1 p.m. game amid dangerously low wind chills that have settled over the city. Well, with a «RealFeel» temperature of 37 below for Saturday's game against the Saints, the Browns have activated specific «cold weather allowances» for fans attending the contest.
Guests can bring in one thermos, 20 oz. or less, as well as blankets, according to a Tweet.
Portable chargers and non dry cell batteries both no larger than 6″x3″x1.5″ are also permitted to power heated apparel.
Battery packs must be disconnected during security inspection.
This is crazy. Hopefully, everyone who does attend the game won't have any issues with the extreme cold. If anyone doubts their ability to withstand such conditions, they should stay home and watch the game on TV.
