WOW! As revealed by insider Ian Rapoport, the Commanders are trading away their star DE Chase Young to the 49ers:

For Young, the 49ers will be giving their 2024 3rd round pick in exchange.

The Commanders have traded both of their star defensive ends this deadline, with Montez Sweat traded to the Bears, and now, Young to the 49ers.

The 49ers, who are already seen as one of the top defensive teams in the NFL, have now gotten stronger.
