BREAKING: Chicago Bears have Hired Former NFL Quarterback to their Offensive Staff
As revealed earlier today, the Bears have hired former NFL QB Ryan Griffin as an offensive assistant:
Griffin went undrafted in 2013 and signed with the Saints as an underdrafted free agent shortly after. He stayed with the Saints until being waived by the team ahead of the 2015 season, and never played one snap for them.
Griffin was then claimed by the Buccaneers one day later, and was named as the third-string QB. He then stayed with the team until being released following the 2021 season.
Griffin then left the NFL, only throwing for 2 completions on 4 attempts in his career, and joined the Italian Football League back in November.
Now, Griffin is returning to the NFL, but will be coaching on the Bears and will be working closely with the QBs and WRs.
