Former Bears QB Reveals Why Caleb Williams May be Unsuccessful in the NFL (Video)

While discussing some concerns about USC QB Caleb Williams, former Bears QB Chase Daniel explained why Williams' lack of under-center reps could negatively affect him in the NFL:

As heard, Daniel talks about his own career, and explains how he was not able to get comfortable at center until a few years into the season. Daniel explains how before entering the NFL, for 8 years, he only took about 5 snaps under-center, while the rest were in shotgun form.

Williams is similar to Daniel in this sense, as he also has mostly played in shotgun form. This will become an issue in the NFL if Williams is only comfortable at this position.

Daniel has other concerns, as well with the lack of under-center snaps, Williams has also shown a concern for his footwork and locker room leadership.
