BREAKING Bears Sign New Kicker.

"The Chicago Bears hosted a bunch of kickers on Friday for workouts and one of them walked away with a new contract. While the names that had been released so far were Nick Folk, Blair Walsh and Austin MacGinnis, it was somebody else who got the contract. According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Bears signed former Tulsa kicker Redford Jones. Rapoport adds that as of now, Parkey and his $3.5million of fully guaranteed salary remain on the Bears roster.

While the #Bears signed K Redford Jones, the roster status of embattled incumbent kicker Cody Parkey remains unchanged. His salary of $3.5M for 2019 is fully guaranteed, by the way.
