BREAKING Bears Place DT Akiem Hicks On IR.

"The Chicago Bears and general manager Ryan Pace announced a roster move on Tuesday. The team has placed defensive tackle Akiem Hicks on injured reserve. Pace also announced that they signed Alex Bars from the practice squad to the active roster and signed linebacker Fadol Brown to the practice squad. There was some conversation over the last 24 hours that Hicks could find himself on IR and now the Bears have made it official. Hicks will be sidelined for a minimum of eight weeks.
