BREAKING: Bears have Fired Senior Vice President After 22 Years with the Organization
For the past 22 years, Cliff Stein has been apart of the Bears franchise serving as many different positions, most recently as the Senior VP and General Counsel. However, now, he has been fired:
This news comes just days after the Bears fired several of their staff members, including their offensive coordinator Luke Getsy. The team is eyeing to have a clean slate, and believe that moving on from Stein should be apart of that.
Stein first joined the Bears as the teams salary cap manager in 2002. He was then moved to a new position with the team in 2015, and concluded his time in Chicago as the Senior VP and General Counsel
The Bears are looking for new leadership and felt like this was the right decision.
