BREAKING: Amid Growing Concerns Over Joe Burrow's Injury, Cincinnati Bengals Test Former Renowned NFL Quarterback.
Joe Burrow seems to be less than fully fit, intensifying speculations that the Bengals might be without their star quarterback for some time as they aim for his complete recovery.
To address this, the Bengals recently added QB Reid Sinnett to their practice squad, considering only Burrow and Jake Browning were the listed quarterbacks. And it seems their search for additional support doesn't stop there.
Bengals expert, Mike Petraglia, reports that the team invited ex-quarterback AJ McCarron for a workout session earlier today. McCarron's last stint as a quarterback was with the St. Louis Battlehawks during the 2023 XFL season. His NFL appearance was back in 2020, playing two games as a backup for the Houston Texans.
A former fifth-round pick for the Bengals in 2014, McCarron is best known for his triumphant college years, securing three national titles with the Alabama Crimson Tide.
