Bears Young Guard Seen Training With Bears Legend Olin Kreutz, Ryan Poles Shows Support
As reported by Chicago Media's Daniel Greenberg, Bears GM Ryan Poles has been very pleased with his 2nd year guard Ja'Tyre Carter, as he has been looking good at preseason, and training hard:
Poles also mentioned on the Hoge & Jahns podcast, that Carter has been training with former Bears star Center Olin Kreutz.
Kreutz was drafted by the Bears back in 1998, before Carter was born. Kreutz played with the Bears until 2010, and will forever be remembered as a Bears legend. Kreutz finished his career as a 2-time All-Pro, a 6-time Pro Bowler, and is listed at number 27 on the 100 greatest Bears of All-Time list.
Seeing Carter training with the legend is an amazing sign that he will be ready for the 2023 season, and will be apart of the reason why QB Justin Fields has himself a stellar season.
