Bears WR Darnell Mooney Speaks On Having Justin Fields Back at Practice

Since suffering a thumb injury back in week 6 against the Vikings, Bears QB Justin Fields has been sidelined.

Finally, he has returned, and was seen back on the practice field for the first time since the injury.

After practice, Bears WR Darnell Mooney spoke to the media, and talked about how Fields looked on the field:

As shown in the tweet, Bears reporter Courtney Cronin states that Mooney noticed his QB looking good at practice, and saw some "zip" on his passes.

Mooney saw nothing concerning from Fields, but understands that he will not return until he is feeling 100%.

The Bears will be facing off against the Saints on Sunday, and Fields is currently listed as "doubtful." Rookie QB Tyson Bagent is expected to start.
