Bears Trying Out two veteran cornerbacks this week end
Kevin Fishbain reported that a pair of veteran corners will be trying out at this weekend's Bears rookie minicamp: Jayson Stanley (Georgia) and Maurice Canady (Virginia).
Canady has played in 40 games in his career, which began with the Ravens in 2016. He then played with the Jets and Cowboys. During his career, he has 8 starts.
As for Stanley, he appeared in 8 games for the Seattle Seahawks. While he is inexperienced in the NFL, he is very athletic and could maybe find his way onto the Bears roster next season.
Also, a few other Bears will be participating in this weekend's rookie minicamp at Halas Hall: QB Ryan Willis, WR Chris Finke, DE Charles Snowden, OG Dieter Eiselen.
Ball State's Drew Plitt, a rookie tryout player, is the other quarterback.
The Bears are holding a rookie minicamp this entire weekend!
