Bears rookie WR practiced for the first time in weeks!
Brad Biggs reported that Bears WR Velus Jones (hamstring) returned to practice for the first time since Sept. 5. He was limited.
OL Riley Reiff (shoulder) was limited. Reiff had 4 snaps on special teams in the victory over the Niners.
This is excellent news for both players. I think Velus could become a very valuable asset to the special teams and even on offense. He had an amazing training camp and Bears OC Luke Getsy mentioned on a couple of occasions that he would be very much involved in different packages inside of his offense.
Jones' ability to take the top off opposing defenses with his 4.2 speed is very rare in this league. I am so excited to see him in action!
