Bears Re-Sign Veteran Quarterback Following Roster Trimdown
Nathan Peterman quickly found his way back to the Chicago Bears, rejoining the team just two days after being released. He is expected to serve as the Bears' third-string quarterback, behind Justin Fields and Tyson Bagent.
Originally, when the Bears released Peterman, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported that the team had plans to bring him back onto the practice squad. Instead, Peterman has secured a spot on the 53-man roster, as offensive linemen Teven Jenkins and Doug Kramer move to the injured reserve list.
The Bears have also added wide receiver Trent Taylor to their 53-man roster.
