The Bears have struggled with protecting their QB over the past two weeks which was especially present against the Texans.
After the week 2 loss, many fans blamed the offensive line for doing a terrible job but head coach Matt Eberflus was quick to come to their defense. Eberflus stated that the week protection was everyone's fault from the OL to the TE and RB.
"I believe protection is everybody. It's the tight ends, it's the offensive line, it's the runners, it's the quarterback, it's everybody involved," Eberflus told reporters after the loss Sunday night.
Clearly the offensive line need to do a better job but the Bears head coach is right that it was not only the linesman's fault for the poor pass protection.
