Another Change: After Firing Both their OC and QB Coach, the Bears have made Another Firing on their Offense
After it was revealed that both OC Luke Getsy and QB coach Andrew Janocko were fired by the Bears today, another move was announced:
As seen, the Bears have also fired WR coach Tyke Tolbert.
Tolbert joined the Bears the same time Getsy and Janocko did early in 2022. Since then, the Bears have struggled on the offensive side from the play calling, QB issues, and WR mistakes.
Even with the new addition of WR DJ Moore this past offseason, the Bears were still unable to get build a strong receiving core, as many of the players struggled with route running and catching the ball.
The Bears are now in a search for a new OC, QB coach, and WR coach.
