It has been reported that Teven Jenkins is absent from Thursday practice as training camp is now underway. With all the uncertainty regarding the offensive line, it wasn't long before rumors started circulating about last year's 2nd round pick.
The Bears have made two additions along the offensive line this week signing Micheal Schofield and Riley Reiff. Both are good veterans that bring experience and good talent to the O-line.
Jenkins was recently demoted to the second team during OTA's as Larry Borom and Braxton Jones took both starting tackle spots. With Reiff now in the picture, is Ryan Poles looking to move on from Jenkins?
Poles has no particular attachment to Jenkins as he was not part of the regime that drafted him. Braxton Jones and Riley Reiff are splitting the 1st team reps today as the coaching staff continues to try different combinations. Larry Borom has the entirety of the reps at right tackle.
