All-Pro RB Jonathan Taylor has Requested to be Traded
The trend this offseason has been about the unhappy running backs in the NFL this year, and now, we are seeing another RB joining the pack.
Colts star RB Jonathan Taylor has requested to be traded, following a conversation he had with the team owner, Jim Irsay.
According to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, Taylor had a discussion with Irsay about a possible contract extension and to be paid at a much higher price, but Irsay said no.
Taylor then requested to be traded, but again, Irsay said no. Irsay said this to The Athletic's James Boyd:

"If I die tonight and Jonathan Taylor is out of the league, no one's gonna miss us. The league goes on. We know that. The National Football (League) rolls on. It doesn't matter who comes and who goes, and it's a privilege to be a part of it"
- Irsay said
Taylor is one of the best RBs in the NFL, especially in his second year, in 2021. That year, he was a Pro Bowler, a First-Team All-Pro, and the NFL rushing yards leader. When Taylor is healthy, he is arguably the best RB in the NFL.
So, it looks like Irsay refuses to pay him or trade him, which means Taylor may be sitting out this year.
