New Signing means this Star LB is Staying in the NFC North
As reported by top NFL Insiders Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport, Vikings star pass-rusher Danielle Hunter has signed a 1-year deal that is worth up to $20 million, and will be remaining in Minnesota:
Hunter was drafted by the Vikings back in 2015, and has been a key member to the organization since. He is a 3-time Pro Bowler, as well as a member of the 2018 Second-Team All-Pro.
Hunter's best seasons were in 2018 and 2019, as he had a total of 29 sacks, 142 tackles, and 3 forced fumbles, between the two seasons.
Then, he did not play in 2020 due to an injury, which worried fans that he may never play the same again. In his first season back in 2021, Hunter only played in 7 games, where he made 38 tackles and 6 sacks.
Hunter then played the entire 2022 season, and fans were happy to see him back as his old self. He finished the season with 65 tackles, 10.5 sacks, and was selected as a Pro Bowler.
