Akiem Hicks diagnosed with a pretty significant injury

Adam Schefter reported that former Bears DT and current Bucs Akiem Hicks tore the plantar fascia in his foot and is now expected to be sidelined for a month.

This is really sad news. Hicks has been nothing but an incredible leader and a class act on and off the field for 6 seasons in Chicago. Even though he is not quite the same player as he once was, he was still a great rotation piece and I believe he can be a solid player for a contender like the Bucs.

This injury will clearly be a hard thing to recover from, but I expect him to bounce-back and I truly wish him a speedy recovery. Hicks will always be a Bear for life!
