Over the last 48 hours we've heard the war of words start up between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers regarding their Week 1 matchup on Sunday. Akiem Hicks has taken some shots at the Packers trying to get the rivalry sparked up again. Packers head coach Mike McCarthy not looking for reason to motivate the Bears threw some praise towards the Bears and their acquisition of Khalil Mack. Now it's Aaron Rodgers turn as he doesn't sound too happy about the Bears landing another linebacker who's looking to eat him alive. «I think they're going to try to get him in there as much as possible,» Rodgers said. «Vic's had some great edge rushers over the years. Khalil, he's a fantastic player. You have to account for him when he's in there and expect him to be his usual active self.»
Rodgers has only faced Mack once so far in his career and as you might have guessed, Mack was able to sack Rodgers for a loss of five. Now Mack will take a run at Rodgers while having Leonard Floyd, Roquan Smith and Danny Trevathan on the same team as him. The best part about it is, the Packers have no film of Mack with the Bears and can't really predict how Vic Fangio will plan to use him with Floyd, Smith and Trevathan all expected to be in the lineup.
