The Chicago Bears have selected RB Trestan Ebner with the No. 203 overall pick in the NFL Draft a few months ago.

Ebner who is listed at 5'11, 206 lbs was a do-it-all RB for Baylor as a runner, receiver out of the backfield and punt/kick returner. Last season, he was named the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Year and voted first-team all-Big 12 as a return specialist and all-purpose player.

He ran a 4.43 40-yard dash at the Combine. He's one of the better receiving backs in the class. In fact, he has 11 receiving touchdowns in his career. He could provide very solid value on 3rd downs for the bears.

In 2021, during his senior year, he had 1594 scrimmage yards as well as 5 touchdowns. He was so productive.

Out of his 23 total touchdowns in college, 11 of them were receptions! He had a total of 127 receptions in college and if you look at his highlight tape, you will see how explosive he is. I believe he will be the third running back on the depth chart and if he plays the way that he did in college, he could split time with Khalil Herbert. I see great potential for him to be used on third downs as a threat as a receiver. I can even see him split out as a receiver in certain formations. I am excited to see how Luke Getsy will use him in his offense.
