BREAKING: Former Bears QB Justin Fields Set to be a Free Agent

As reported this week, former Bears QB and current Steeler Justin Fields is set to become a free agent next season after being declined his 5th-year option:
Fields was traded to the Steelers earlier this offseason after the Bears decided it was time to move on. Fields was the Bears' starting QB since 2021, but after a disappointing 10-28 record, the era came to an end.
Fields is soon-to-be coming off of his 4-year rookie contract, and because the Steelers declined to sign him to a 5th-year option, he will become a free agent following the 2024 season.
If Fields does not re-sign with the Steelers next offseason, then Fields may be playing for a new team.
