The NFL world was pretty shocked on draft night a few weeks ago, as the Falcons selected QB Michael Penix Jr. with their 1st-round selection.
Now, almost a month after the draft, a video has been posted of Bears GM Ryan Poles reacting to the pick;
As seen in the clip, Poles was like all of us. He too was surprised by this selection, as the Falcons signed veteran QB Kirk Cousins to a 4-year $180 million deal shortly before.
With the Falcons drafting Penix Jr, instead of a WR or another position, this guaranteed the Bears on being able to draft WR Rome Odunze.
