Jayden Daniels was taken with the second overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, right after the Chicago Bears took Caleb Williams first overall.
Daniels is going to be with the Washington Commanders who have been in desperate need of a franchise quarterback. With their first preseason game against the New York Jets set to go down next Saturday, fans have been curious if Daniels would get to play.
According to Adam Schefter, that question has been answered. On Saturday, August 10th, Jayden Daniels will get his first reps with the franchise.
"Hardly a surprise, but Commanders HC Dan Quinn said No. 2 overall pick Jayden Daniels will play in Washington's first preseason game vs. the Jets."
