Tragic news concerning JJ McCarthy

JJ McCarthy was supposed to be the QB of the future for the Minnesota Vikings as they moved on from Kirk Cousins.

However, after just one preseason game, JJ McCarthy has been hit with a horrible circumstance. According to Adam Schefter, he is now going to miss time with a meniscus injury. In fact, he will even be getting surgery on the injured leg.

Sam Darnold will now be the starter for the Vikings, moving forward. Needless to say, not a good start to McCarthy's career, by any stretch of the imagination.
