Surprising Announcement Made about QB Caleb Williams regarding TNF

As reported this afternoon, the Chicago Bears have revealed that rookie QB Caleb Williams will NOT be playing for the Hall of Fame game this week:

This came as a shock, as Williams has yet to play a game with the Bears, so this preseason matchup would be a perfect time to get him on the field.

The Bears have revealed that QB Tyson Bagent will be starting the game as he is competing for the backup position this season against veteran QB Brett Rypien.
