DJ Moore and New Bears QB Caleb Williams Team Up for a workout

The Caleb Williams era has officially begun in Chicago, and he's already captivating the Bears' fanbase.

Although Williams won't hit the practice field until May 10 for rookie minicamp, he's actively gearing up for the 2024 season with a new teammate in tow.

A recent photo shared by Shots by Goonie on Instagram captures Williams and wide receiver DJ Moore training together in Los Angeles, just days after Williams was drafted first overall in the 2024 NFL Draft.

The expectation is for Williams and Moore to forge a strong partnership, reminiscent of the rapport Moore had with former Bears quarterback Justin Fields. They're already diligently working on building that chemistry.


Williams, known for his commitment to hard work and excellence, is maintaining his work ethic as he transitions to the NFL.

However, this is not the first time Williams and Moore have trained together. According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Williams organized a workout session with Moore, Keenan Allen, and rookie Rome Odunze before officially joining the team, signaling a near certainty of his draft selection.

When considering Williams' prospects for his rookie season, it's tempting to draw comparisons with C.J. Stroud in Houston, who earned Offensive Rookie of the Year honors in his debut season.

While it may be premature to set such high expectations for Williams, there's no doubt he's in an excellent position as the number one draft pick. Surrounded by top-tier talent like Moore, Allen, D'Andre Swift, Cole Kmet, and now Odunze, bolstered by an enhanced offensive line and a formidable defense, Williams is poised for success in his inaugural NFL season.
