Chicago Bears offensive lineman Ryan Bates is on the injured reserve now which has forced the hand of the team.
As a result, they have elevated their long-snapper Scott Daly from the practice squad. Daly previously played for the Detroit Lions and was a beloved player in that role.
Meanwhile, the Bears also elevated wide receiver Collin Johnson as Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze are both injured. Only time will tell whether or not these players make an impact in Week 2 against the Houston Texans.
Let us know if you think the Bears can win this weekend, in the poll down below. Stay tuned to Let's Bear Down for the latest news and updates from around the football world.
