Caleb Williams needs the best offensive line he can get to start the season, however, with Ryan Bates's injury woes, it has been hard to find consistency.
Today, it was officially revealed that Bates has been placed on the injury reserve. This is another disastrous update for the Bears as it means Bates will miss at least the next four games.
The Bears will play against the Houston Texans tomorrow during Sunday Night Football on NBC. The Bears have a chance to start the season 2-0.
