After going undrafted back in April at the 2024 NFL draft, WR David Wallis was signed by the Patriots.
Wallis played division III football at Randolph-Macon college, where he finished the 2023 season with 957 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Even after an impressive preseason, the Patriots kept Wallis on their practice squad, but now, he has a chance of making an active roster elsewhere:
As read, Wallis will be working out with the Bears in hopes of signing to their active roster.
This news comes after it was revealed that Bears rookie WR Rome Odunze was ruled "week-to-week" with an MCL sprain. Adding Wallis would be beneficial with Odunze likely missing some time.
