Most college athletes use their sport to obtain a free degree before moving on into the real world but those that turn professional do the opposite.
A lot of NFL players often use college to realize their dream of playing in the NFL and once they declare for the draft often do not look back.
Bears Wide Receiver Tyler Scott took a different approach as he was drafted in the fourth round by Chicago from the University of Cincinnati in 2023. Instead of just focusing on his NFL career, Scott made sure to return to college and finish his remaining 36 credits over the past 2 summers.
Scott officially graduated yesterday and now has his University degree for when the time comes to hang up his cleats and find a different job.
