Yesterday marked the 29th anniversary of very memorable moment in Bears history involving a fan.
In a game between the rival Packers and Bears, an extra point was kicked by the Bears that cleared the netting behind the field goal posts which had the ball headed for the players tunnel, a fan decided to dive out seats and catch the ball.
29 years ago today, a Chicago Bears fan JUMPED INTO THE TUNNEL to catch an extra point
It is one thing for a player to put his body on the line but a completely different thing for a fan to do it, especially for a souvenir.
Having passionate fans such as this one is why the Bears have the greatest fan base in the NFL.
