WOW: Former NFL MVP Boomer Esiason Reveals Why Bears QB Tyson Bagent May Continue to be the QB1 Over Justin Fields

Since Bears QB Justin Fields dislocated his thumb back in week 6, undrafted rookie QB Tyson Bagent was named as the QB1 to allow Fields to heal.

In today's game against the Saints, Bagent had himself an impressive first half, where he went 10/13, earned a total of 209 yards, and threw for 2 touchdowns.

During halftime, former NFL star QB Boomer Esiason revealed that he believes Bagent could be the Bears QB1 over Fields, even once he is fully healthy:

Esiason does not see how the Bears could go back to Fields considering how well Bagent has played.

Fields is likely to return for Thursday Night Football, and I would be surprised to see the Bears not start him.
