Before the Pro Bowl rosters went public, Bears GM Ryan Poles made sure to tell his 2 players in a wholesome way:
As seen, DE Montez Sweat and CB Jaylon Johnson were selected for their very first Pro Bowls.
Before being traded, Sweat was on the Commanders - the only team he had played for since being drafted in 2019.
The Bears then traded for Sweat this past season, and it is clearly paying off well.
Johnson has only been a Bear since being drafted in 2020. Though he has been a solid player since his arrival, this season has been his true breakout year, and he has made a name for himself.
These 2 deserve this selection and their reactions were great!
