The argument to end all arguments: Who is the greatest Bears linebacker?

I have it narrowed down to three: Dick Butkus, Mike Singletary, or Brian Urlacher. You could include guys like Khalil Mack, who's a shoo-in for the Hall of Fame, Lance Briggs, who dominated alongside Urlacher, or Robert Quinn, who just broke the single-season sack record for the Bears. But if we are going by their time spent in a Bears jersey, they just don't match up to the previously mentioned career-long Bears.
Which leads to the difficulty of this article: What area is it that we judge them by? Does the decade they played in affect the outcome? Do we consider how much their teammates aided in their success? Do we go by stats, abilities, knowledge, physicality, or all of the above?
Since each of these amazing men played in front of a different generation of fans, there is already favouritism. Much like in today's argument of Lebron versus Jordan, these kids never even saw Jordan's dominance in a harder world of basketball. Just as most of Urlacher's followers have never watched Butkus play a down of football. Anyone and everyone can pull up highlights, but to truly watch these men, in action, controlling a football game like a quarterback was a sight to see.
Butkus:
9 seasons with 8 Pro Bowls
Tackles: 1020
Fumble Recoveries: 25
Interceptions: 22
TD: 1
Sacks: Not officially tracked during his career.
Singletary:
12 seasons with 10 Pro Bowls and 1 Super Bowl Ring
Tackles: 885
Fumble Recoveries: 12
Interceptions: 7
TD: 0
Sacks: 19 (rookie year not tracked)
Urlacher:
13 seasons with 8 Pro Bowls and 1 Super Bowl appearance.
Tackles: 1046
Fumble Recoveries: 12
Interceptions: 22
TD: 4
Sacks: 41.5
(also went 1-1 on offensive receptions for 27 yds and a TD)
As you can see, you can't go by stats alone when some weren't even tracked at the time. The matter is all subjective. Who was the best leader? How affected was the team when they played? How effective was the team when they weren't on the field? It's like Brian Urlacher recently said on the Pat McAfee Show, the wrong people are making the biggest decisions. Sportswriters deciding who gets into the NFL, guys who MAYBE played ball in high school, deciding who is enshrined in NFL greatness. I'm nowhere close to being qualified enough to make this call. The only question I have is can Roquan Smith be this generations great Bears linebacker?
