WATCH: Former Giants RB Saquon Barkley Gets Exposed for Lying

This past offseason, former Giants RB Saquon Barkley left the team and surprisingly signed with their division rivals: the Eagles.

Months after, and still today, fans are angry with Barkley over leaving New York, but according to Barkley in a tweet a few months ago, the Giants never gave him an offer to come back:

As read, Barkley explained how the Giants did not send him an offer and that is why he left. However, following a new episode of HBO's "Hard Knocks" it appears that Barkley was not telling the truth:

As heard, the conversation was recorded between Barkley and Giants GM Joe Schoen, where it's clear the team offered him a deal to stay in New York.

Clearly Barkley was set on signing somewhere else, but didn't want that to be the narrative on social media.
