Vikings WR Justin Jefferson Calls Out the NFL for Insensitive Social Media Post
After the Lions beat the Buccaneers to advance to the conference championship, a fan held up a sign showing the journey the Lions took to get there, highlighting the injuries suffered against them:
As shown, the poster displays the word "kneecap" twice, and the backstory to that is that two different tight ends suffered season-ending injuries after sustaining low hits against the Lions.
Both Vikings TE TJ Hockenson and Rams TE Tyler Higbee tore their ACL's after getting hit low by a Lions defender. This sign that the NFL is posting in a "positive" way highlights these dirty injuries.
After the NFL posted this, Hockenson's teammate Vikings WR Justin Jefferson called out the league, saying:
"Yall wild for posting this (thumbs down) This ain't cool!!"
Come on, NFL!
