VIDEO: This David Montgomery's play clearly shows just how incredibly talented he is
With Khalil Herbert still out, David Montgomery got the majority of the carries for a Bears' offense that was also without Justin Fields. He had a strong game averaging 5.6 YPC but was unable to find the end zone with the overall struggles of the offense to move the ball.
He had 14 carries for 79 yards against the Jets. He added three catches for 34 yards on four targets in the 31-10 loss.
Check out this play where you can see just how great his tackle-breaking ability is. I know that paying a running back big money on a second contract is usually not a smart move for your football team, but I would like for GM Ryan Poles to find a way to bring back Montgomery at a low price. The guy is a baller.
