VIDEO: Justin Fields apology to Bears fans
Bears QB Justin Fields had a viral quote in an interview following Sunday Night's loss.
Indeed, when asked Sunday whether the loss to the Packers hurt more because of the Bears' history with their NFC North rival and how much fans wanted to even out the lopsided rivalry, Fields responded, "Yeah. It hurts more in the locker room than the Bears fans. At the end of the day, they aren't putting in any work. I see the guys in the locker room every day. I see how much work they put in. Coming out of a disappointing loss like this, it hurts."
This quote went viral on the internet and a lot of fans were very offended by this...
Well, Fields clarified the situation earlier today. Here is what he said:
I have to admit that Fields handle this situation perfectly and it showed once again what a class-act man he is.
