VIDEO: Here is another example showing the importance of LB Roquan Smith to the Bears

Roquan Smith's value to this team has been in question a lot lately due to his very public ongoing contract negotiations.

However, Smith decided to put this on the side for a while and to concentrate on this season. Well, he played a very solid game in the opener as he was a key piece to a great performance by the defense. Indeed, Smith finished the game with 9 tackles, 0,5 sacks, one pass defended and a QB hit.

With that being said, the Bears have been looking for a vocal leader in the locker room with the departure of Akiem Hicks this off-season. Well, it looks like Smith is trying to fill in that void. Here is an example!
