Adrian Peterson and Le'Veon Bell have signed contracts for a heavyweight boxing exhibition on July 30 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles according to ESPN's Mike Coppinger.

Both former All-Pro running backs will be competing in a boxing ring for the first time, but since it's an exhibition, the fight won't officially mark their pro boxing debuts.
This news will continue the trend of athletes and social media stars crossing over into boxing.
Frank Gore, another All-Pro running back, competed against NBA All-Star Deron Williams in an exhibition on the undercard of Jake Paul-Tyron Woodley. Gore then made his pro debut in May with a fourth-round knockout.
It will be very interesting to see Adrian fight Bell. The fight card is already stacked with big names including ex-NBA player Nick Young is fighting against rapper Blueface ... and YouTuber Austin McBroom is going up against YouTuber AnEsonGib.
Both running backs are free agents. Peterson, the 2012 NFL MVP, led the league in rushing in three different seasons. He spent most of his career with the Minnesota Vikings before leaving in 2017 for Arizona. Last season Peterson, 37, played three total games: two with Tennessee and one with Seattle.
Bell, 30, is a three-time first-team All-Pro. He spent the first six seasons of his career with Pittsburgh before joining the Jets, Chiefs, Ravens and Buccaneers.
