Two NFC North teams amongst the 4 favorite to land WR Deebo Samuel
A few hours ago, ESPN reporter Jeff Darlington reported another breaking news in the NFL. 49ers WR Deebo Samuel has officially asked to be traded away from the team.
Samuel is one of the best players in Football. He showed last season that he was clearly a top 5 offensive weapon and that he could change the outcome of any game by himself. He is also still very young, being only 26 years old.
This was really breaking news. However, after having probably the craziest two months in the NFL, breaking news-wise, this is not even surprising.
NFL Network insider, Ian Rapoport listed the top teams with the best chances of acquiring Samuel.
Here is what he said
Among the teams to consider as the trade market for Deebo Samuel heats up: The Jets, the Packers, the Chiefs, the Lions
This means that the possibility of Deebo playing the Chicago Bears two times per season is very real. Hopefully he ends up somewhere else.
If he signs with the Lions, I don't think the Bears should be worried as much as if he signs with Green Bay. As much as I hate them, I have to agree that he would be terrific in that offense.
